GPRS Data
The International SIM Card is 3G/GPRS
enabled. This feature is provided for free and will allow you to
use the data services of your unlocked device.
If you use a PDA, Smartphone or Pocket PC running on Windows Mobile (or
an equivalent open operating system on Exchange Server), you can simply
insert the International SIM Card into your device, and enter websfr (lower
case) in the APN field of your connection settings. GPRS Data
rates are as follows:
Within France:
$5.00 per MB (billing increment 10 kb = $0.005)
Within Europe: $15.00 per MB (billing increment 10 kb =
$0.015)
If you will be traveling outside of
Europe be sure to consider using our Mobilo
International SIM Card with GPRS which offers GPRS in
most countries for just $20 per MB.
BlackBerry Data
If you own a BlackBerry, our services
are compatible. Use our International SIM Card with your unlocked
device and keep receiving your emails while saving a bundle on all of
your data and calling charges! Until now, when you traveled
abroad, you had to activate an international data plan with your current
carrier. Some providers even locked you up in a yearly
subscription...but you still had to pay high roaming calling charges.
For Blackberry Internet Service (BIS) or Blackberry Enterprise Server
(BES) users, we propose a flexible option that allows you to activate
this service for the duration of your trip. You then will pay
simply for your usage.

How does it work? Contact
us to activate this option on your line. Then replace your current
carrier's SIM card with your International SIM Card and continue sending
and receiving your emails. This is that simple and no settings have to
be changed. Or, if you already have an existing line with us,
simply contact us before your departure to activate this option.
The option is only $4.50 per day (10 day minimum). Tell us if you are a BlackBerry
Internet Service user or if you are a BlackBerry Enterprise Server user.
You then just pay your usage as follows:
Within France:
Unlimited Emails - $5.00 per MB for web browsing (billing increment 10
kb = $0.05)
Within Europe: $15.00 per MB for emailing and web web
browsing (billing increment 10 kb = $0.15)
Rest of the World: $0.090
per kb for emailing and web browsing (billing increment 10 kb)
Add and remove this option to your line without limit to suit your
travel needs. Allow up to 72 hours to activate or deactivate this
option.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do you invoice the SIM Card service?
Whenever you use your SIM card, we bill your credit card once a month
any airtime usage and data transport charges incurred from the previous
month. Any additional usage charges will be billed on subsequent
invoices.
Do I have to pay something when I don’t travel?
No, there is absolutely no monthly or any other fee. Keep the SIM card
until your next trip to Europe, and you only pay for your usage. Nothing
else.
How do you invoice the Blackberry option?
The Blackberry option is charged on a daily basis and the total will
appear on your monthly statement. This option can be activated and
suspended without any limit while you maintain an active line. |
