With the Telecom Personal Pre-Paid Mobile, If you do not recharge your account within 8-Months, your SIM card and phone number will be recycled and any remaining airtime credit will be forfeit. Every time you subsequently add airtime the validity of your SIM card will be extended for 8-months. If you do not subsequently recharge your account within 8-Months then your SIM card and phone number will be recycled and any remaining airtime credit will be forfeit. To get connected again you will be required to purchase another SIM card. When you add a voucher you can travel safely and use your cell phone for another 8 months.
Even when you have used all your call credits, you get an extra 180 days of incoming calls for free. During this time, you must recharge your service to recommence making outgoing calls. If you fail to recharge your service after this time your service will be terminated, and your mobile phone number withdrawn.

Your Argentina SIM card will provide you with an Argentina based cellular phone number that is located on a white sticker. The cell phone number will begin with 54 (the Country Code for Argentina) followed by 9 11. Callers dialing from within Argentina would omit the 54 911 and instead dial 15 and then your number starting with 6.

- Turn the phone on and enter the PIN (If Prompted) which is located on the same sticker as your phone number
- Turn on your phone and dial *150 from your mobile phone
- Start calling**
Customer service for your Argentina Mobile prepaid SIM card is available 24 hr./day by dialing *111 at any time from your Argentina cellular phone.
*You will need to snap out the thumbnail sized Argentina SIM card along the perforated edge of its holder and then insert the Argentina SIM card into your international cell phone with the gold contacts of the Argentina SIM card facing the metal contacts of your international cellular phone.
**When calling overseas from the United States to your Argentina cell phone number callers will need to dial 011 followed by 54 9 11 and then your Argentina, omitting the leading digits "15" of your cell phone number. They are available in AR$10 (US $3.50), AR $20 (US $7) and AR $100 (US $35) increments.
Recharge airtime vouchers are available at face value, so an AR $100 airtime voucher will cost you AR $100 and will credit your Argentina SIM card for AR $100.
