Roger's SIM Card For Canada
A Roger's pre-paid Canada SIM card is a great way to save on cellular service while in Canada. This prepaid SIM gives you a local number and local rates so you will not have to worry about your service provider or phone rental company charging expensive roaming fees. When you use your mobile phone in Canada you'll save a significant amont of money. This Canada SIM Card allows you to control your spending, allowing you to enjoy your trip.
NOTE: Your Canada SIM Card will require an unlocked GSM phone with a frequency of 1900. If you do not already own an unlocked GSM phone consider purchasing one along with your SIM Card.

Domestic rates:
All Domestic rates are billed on a per minute basis.
Outgoing Local calls:
You will be asked to choose from three plans when you activate your Canada SIM Card. Rates are on a per minute basis.
Anytime Plan:
$0.33 CAD ($0.29 USD)
*Evenings & Weekends Plan:
$0.39 CAD ($0.33 USD) (daytime)
$0.05 CAD ($0.04 USD) (evenings and weekends)
**All Day Plan:
$0.33 CAD ($0.29 USD) (for first 5 minutes)
$0.15 CAD ($0.12 USD) (for every minute thereafter)
Roaming calls(calls placed when traveling outside of the country) are not available with Rogers.
GPRS(Wireless Internet) is currently not available, but you will be able to receive email while using the Roger's SIM Card.
Emailing:
Email messaging lets you send and receive email messages of up to 155 characters each. Your email address is easy to remember, because its your Roger's phone number ( area code+your Roger's phone number) followed by @pcs.rogers.com ( i.e. 4161234567@pcs.rogers.com). This service works anywhere in Roger's PCS coverage area and is billed as a text message.
*Evenings are from 8 p.m.-8 a.m. Mon-Fri. Weekends are from 8 p.m. on Fri to 8 a.m. on Mon. Minimum
recharge for your account using "Evenings & Weekends Plan" will be $20 CAD ($17.33 USD).
**With the "All day Plan" minimum recharge for your account will be a $20 CAD ($17.33 USD) each month.

Service Life:
If you do not recharge your SIM Card for Canada every 30 days it will expire. If a reload is added any remaining minutes will roll-over or be available for an additional 30 days.
SIM Card Activation:
You will need to activate your SIM card before it can be used. The Roger's SIM Card for Canada can be activated before you leave the USA by calling 1-877-764-3772.
Using your SIM Card:
Upon arrival in Canada, detach the SIM card from its plastic package and insert it into your phone. Follow the guidelines from your cell phone manual if you have trouble inserting your SIM.

Calling your new number:
Your friends and relatives can reach you by dialing: 1 and the rest of your telephone number without the first zero.
Sending SMS (text message) to your new number:
In order to send you a SMS (text message), friends and relatives should dial: + 1 then your SIM phone number without the first zero.
Recharging your SIM card account:
Your SIM Card for Canada comes with approximately eighty nine minutes of talk-time. When you need to add credits (minutes) to your account, you will need to purchase a "Airtime Voucher"(refill card). You can find these cards near the cash register in gas stations, newspaper stands or at a Roger's authorized dealers store.
To recharge your account:
Open your prepaid voucher and punch in the secret code into your keypad to apply the credit. If you have any questions dial: 611.
