Service Life:
The credit that this SIM comes with is valid for 12-months. The SIM remains active for 2 additional months, but if airtime is not loaded within the specified time period then your German prepaid SIM card will expire and any remaining airtime credit will be lost.
A 15 Euro airtime voucher will extend the service life for an additional 6-months and a 30 Euro airtime voucher will extend the service life for an additional 12-months.

Activation Instructions:
Upon arrival into the country, detach the SIM card from its plastic package and insert it into your cell phone according to the cell phone manual. We recommend reading the manual carefully before installation. Along with the SIM card you receive security codes (PIN code and PUK code) enabling you to access your provider’s services. When you turn on the phone, a PIN code is requested automatically. You can change or turn off your PIN code (your cell phone manual explains the details). If a PIN code is entered incorrectly three consecutive times, the SIM card will be blocked. In order to unblock the SIM card, you need to use the PUK code.
Attention:Your SIM card activates upon making a first call. After getting connected to the local network, you can make calls. Upon making the first outgoing call you also will be able to receive incoming calls.
Attention:Your new phone number is printed on the plastic SIM card holder that secures the SIM card and appears under “Ihre Mobilfunknummer” and starts with 0176 xxxxxxxx.
Calling your new number:
You can be reached by callers dialing from the USA, just have them dial: 011 49 176 and the rest of the SIM card telephone number.
To make international calls back to the USA from Germany simply dial 00 1, the area code and number.
Adding Credit:
Starting credit of 02 Loop SIM card is aproximately 20 min of local talk time within the operator's network. In order to recharge your account, purchase a Credit Increasing Card (scratch-card). It can be done at various kiosks, gas stations, newstands or in authorized dealer stores. To recharge your acount dial 5667, and after the operator answers press 1, dial the refill voucher code and press #.
Determining your account balance:You can check your account balance by calling 5667 then pressing the call button and after the operator answers press 2.
