With the TIM Country Specific SIM Card for Peru, calls are billed in per-second increments. Your phone number will be based in Lima. TIMdestino rates apply to local calls in the Central region which includes the areas of Huanuco, Pasco, Junin, Huancavelica, Ica and Ayacucho. Larga Distancia Nacional (LDN) rates apply to calls outside of the local area. The currency used in Peru is called the Nuevo Sol (PEN), also written as "S/.", and is equal to about $0.32. Prices include a 19% TGV tax.

| Service Life|
|The TIM Country Specific SIM Card for Peru lasts for 30 days from the last recharge. If more than 30 days pass between recharges, the SIM card will be de-activated and the number recycled.|
| Activation Instructions|
- The initial activation must take place in Peru
- Insert the TIM Country Specific SIM Card into your unlocked GSM cell phone
- Turn on your phone then dial "151" to activate your SIM card. Alternatively, you may also dial "0 801-151-51" to activate your SIM card.

| ||Reloads for the TIM Country Specific SIM Card for Peru, also known as "TIMcarga" recharge cards, can be found in most "Mundos y Planetas TIM" stores, supermarkets, drugstores, magazine kiosks and many other convenience stores throughout Peru which display the TIM logo. Reloads are available in the following denominations: S/. 40 ($12), S/. 60 ($19) and S/. 120 ($38).|
To load additional airtime, simply follow these instructions:
Scratch off the grey covering to revel the reload code
Dial "4916", select option "2" and then select option "1" to add your reload

With the TIM Country Specific SIM Card for Peru, all incoming SMS messages are free. Outgoing SMS messages cost only S/. 0.25 for domestic messages and S/. 0.55 for international messages.
To use the TIMdata 121 service with your TIM Country Specific SIM Card for Peru, simply contact TIM Customer Service for setup information.
To call your voicemail, simply dial "131" from your cell phone. Alternatively, you may also access your voicemail by dialing "9799-0131" from a landline phone.
