Do you have an unlocked GSM phone?To use the Riiing SIM you will need an unlocked phone with the correct band, or frequencies for the area in which you will be traveling. If you purchased your GSM phone from a carrier, it may be SIM-locked, so only SIM's from that specific carrier can be used in your phone.

You may already have a Global SIM card and be wondering if this service is right for you. If you only travel to the Zone 1 countries, then the Riiing SIM could be your best choice. Unfortunately, when traveling to other countries outside of Zone-1, the rates are much more expensive, and there are no free incoming calls. Before the introduction of this exciting new product, the only way to get free incoming calls throughout Europe was to purchase a different SIM for each country. Because many of these services cannot be reloaded from the United States many of our customers wound up only being able to use their purchase once.
Airtime Rates in various Riiing Zones:The Riiing SIM has several different zones. Depending on the zone you are traveling in, the services have different rates.
All rates are in Euros. For all Zones, there is a one time access fee of 0.25 Euro per call. All SMS outgoing is 0.49 Euro and all incoming SMS are free. All countries in Zone 1 have FREE incoming calls.

Activating your Prepaid Riiing SIM card:
1. Your Riiing SIM card is pre-activated and comes ready-to-use with your phone number printed on the materials included in the SIM package
2. Insert the card into your cell phone as shown in your phone user manual.
3. Switch on the cell phone (set your frequency to 900/1800) and when prompted, enter the PIN code* received with the SIM card.
4. Once the phone registers itself with an available network (this takes between 30 seconds and 2 minutes), it is is ready for use.
* In most cases, we will turn off the SIM PIN code requirement so that it will not have to be entered.
Making calls using your Riiing SIM:For making a call with your Riiing SIM, you will dial a Plus (+) symbol, the country code and then the number and then press "Send".
Instead of putting the phone to your ear immediately, wait about two seconds and the phone will ring back, alerting you to answer the phone, press the Send or Yes key and you will hear your call go through.
Just dial: +, country code, city code, the phone number (country code is 1 for US) and the Send key to reach any number.
In these few seconds the Riiing SIM calls you back and you control the calling rate per minute and save.
Note: When calling from the USA to your Riiing international number, callers will have to dial 011 followed by your Riiing number.
Service Life:The Ring Global SIM card only needs to be reloaded once every 9 months for you to retain any unused minutes. If you purchase a reload within 9 months any unused minutes roll over. If you do not reload your SIM within 12 months your SIM will expire and your phone number will be recycled.
Text messages (SMS): Incoming SMS messages are always FREEYou can send and receive text messages as you would normally with your phone. You will not be able to send SMS messages once your available credit falls below 3 Euros. If your phone requires a message center number, please call us at 1-800-872-7626 X110 for instructions.
Voice mail:Call "077" to listen to messages received. Follow the voice instructions to change your voice mail settings.
Checking your Balance:To check your balance credit, dial 089 and listen to the instructions.
Adding Credit/Purchasing Reloads:The Riiing SIM only needs to be reloaded once every 12 months to remain active, and when it is time to reload you can simply call us and we will add the reload directly to your account. Diverting/redirecting calls:Call "066" and follow the instructions.
Countries covered by The Riiing:In many countries multiple networks can be used with your Riiing SIM card. Your phone will automatically log into the network as soon as you arrive in that country.
